2.11. Highlight

 

 

To start adding highlights to important area on your pages, click on the "Highlight On"  button to enter into Highlight mode.

 

When you are in the Highlight mode, you will see your arrow cursor changed to a "highlighting pen" cursor.

 

You can drag-and-draw the highlight area on the pages. (Figure 1).

After adding the highlight area, you can click on the Highlight area and a "Note" dialog will be popped out for you to enter some notes for the highlight area. (Figure 2) In the "Note" dialog, you can add text regarding the highlight and change default color of Highlight by clicking the "Color" button.

To move the pop-up Note, click the title bar of the pop-up Note and drag it to a location on the page that you like and release. The location will be remembered. Next time when you click the Note icon on the page, the pop-up Note will appear at the remembered location.

 

To minimize the pop-up Note back to a Note icon , click the "Minimize" button at the upper-right corner of the pop-up Note.

 

To remove a Note and Highlight, click the "Remove" button at the upper-right corner of its pop-up Note. The note and the highlight will be removed.

 

After adding a note to the highlight, you will see the Note icon on the top-left corner of the Highlight. If a note is not added to the highlight, you will not see the Note icon.

 

To exit from highlight mode, click on the "Highlight Off" button. When you mouse-over the Note icon, you will see the text that you have added to the Note at the tooltips. (Figure 3)
