3.1. PDF Guide
3.1.1. Two Types of PDF
There are two types of PDF documents:
1. Single-page PDF: Each PDF document has only one page. If a FlipBook for FlipViewer contains multiple single-page PDF documents, each page in the FlipBook will correspond to a PDF document.
E.g. if your FlipBook has 20 pages, you will have 20 single-page PDF documents.
The advantage* of creating a single-page PDF FlipBook is that online viewing will be faster than a multiple-page PDF FlipBook. While reading the first few PDF pages, the rest of the PDF pages can be streamed in the background.
2. Multiple-Page PDF: Each PDF document has multiple pages. If a FlipBook for FlipViewer contains a multiple-page PDF document, each page in the FlipBook will correspond to a page in PDF document.
E.g. if your FlipBook has 20 pages, you will have a multiple-page PDF document that has 20 pages.
The advantage* of creating a multiple-page PDF FlipBook is that downloading of this FlipBook will be faster than a single-page PDF FlipBook. This kind of FlipBook consists of only one PDF file and thus has a lower file size.
