The job-holder will carry out software architecture design, proof-of-concept, prototyping, algorithm design and optimization, code development, testing and other related tasks.

Preference will be given to candidates with proven skills in designing and developing architecturally complex or algorithmically-intensive software products, and those with outstanding track records can be considered for the Principal Engineer position. Fresh graduates with good academic credentials may apply, and will be considered for entry-level Engineer positions.

Job Duties

• Develops Windows and other Platform applications;
• Carries out software architecture design, proof-of-concept prototyping, algorithm design and optimization, code development, and testing;
• Brainstorms and generates new product ideas and features;
• Implements or contributes to quality and process improvements as necessary;
• Maintains and extends existing software products of the Company;
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Job Specifications:

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics Engineering or a related discipline
• Well-versed with Windows, Linux / Unix or Apple Mac programming and development.
• Proven, in-depth experience with at least one of the following: Delphi, C#, C++, or Java.
• Strong background in OO programming, component-based design, COM technologies, and modern application frameworks.
• Extensive experience in both GUI and system-level programming, involving threads and inter-process communication.
• Broad-based familiarity with Internet technologies, server architectures, RDBMS / SQL.
• Deep passion for software development, coupled with an aptitude for crafting elegant code based on sound algorithms and architectural design principles.
• Experience with any of the following areas would be highly advantageous: Computer graphics, digital rights management and cryptography applications, media streaming technologies, document format (such as PDF and SVG) programming, Flash ActionScript programming and multi-platform development.
