Have you ever wanted to create your own themes within FlipAlbum 5.0, but
hesitant to do so because the instructions seem a bit complicated? Well now
you can join in on the fun with FlipAlbum version 5.5. The latest update
allows you to easily create your own theme for use in FlipAlbum by using the
Create Theme function. FlipAlbum will capture all the images you use for the
Book Covers, Book Background, Left, Right and Centerfold Page Backgrounds.
If more than one page background exists, the rest can be interpreted as Separators.

To create your own theme, simply click on the "Tools" menu and select
"Create Theme". Next, enter a name for your theme.

You can select to insert images of the following file formats: .jpg, .jpeg, .bmp, .png

To make changes to any of the theme elements, select the image and click the
Add/Edit button. Alternatively you can right-click on the image and select
Add/Edit, or simply double-click on the image. Browse to the folder
containing another image and click Open. The new image will be updated. For
separators, you can add up to 10 of them.

To remove any image, select the image and click the Remove button.
Alternatively you can right-click on the image and select Remove.

Click OK, and your theme will now be added to the FlipAlbum theme collection.
To see your new created theme, click Options on the menu bar and select Set
Theme. Your new theme should be one of the themes in the Themes dialog box.

If you would like to delete a Theme that you created, just go into the
"Theme" folder within FlipAlbum installation folder and delete the folder
that contains the theme.

E.g., if you create a theme called "Test" using FlipAlbum 5.5 Pro, you can
find the "Test" folder in the following directory (assuming that you have
selected to install the program in the default location).

C:\Program Files\E-Book Systems\FlipAlbum 5 Pro\Template\Theme

Also, if you would like the images to display correctly, you may want to
take note of the following resolutions when selecting your theme elements.

1 Front Cover (485x618 pixels @ 72 dpi)
1 Back Cover (485x618 pixels @ 72 dpi)
1 Left Page Background (434x552 pixels @ 72 dpi)
1 Right Page Background (434x552 pixels @ 72 dpi)
1 Centerfold Page Background (961x612 pixels @ 72 dpi)
1 Book Background (1024x645 pixels @ 72 dpi)
Separators (434x552 pixels @ 72 dpi)

Now that you know how to create your own themes, you can show them off to
other users on our forum at http://www.flipforum.com.

Enjoy!
