With the release of FlipAlbum 5 Suite and Pro version 5.5, you can now share your albums with users of Macintosh computers. For more information on how to create multi-album CDs, you may refer to our Customer Care tips featured on the February 2003 issue of FlipNews at http://www.flipviewer.com/flipnews/cscare/tipsFeb2003.htm. Note that there is an additional file MacCDViewer.app that you would have to add in the album CD in order to share your albums with Mac users. Hence, please note the following 4 files that you would have to burn to the CD, using a third-party CD burning software:

At the same time, please keep the following points in mind when designing albums for Mac users, as not all the features that are supported in the more mature version of FlipAlbum version 5.5 are available on the Mac:

1. Work with the most popular image format only, namely, .GIF, .JPG, .PNG and .BMP.
2. Add .MP3, .MID and .WAV audio as background music only.
3. Add frames, transparent, 3D, shadow effects, but avoid crop effects.
4. All entries on the Overview, Contents and Index pages would be displayed. Avoid hiding of entries.
5. Avoid using bookmarks, markers, book binders, and cover overhang.
6. Avoid using the set link feature.
7. Set page margins to at least 2%.
8. Set the album to flip in standard direction only.
9. Slideshow option is not available.
10. All albums are displayed on a window frame.

To install the CD copy of FlipAlbum 5.5 over an existing FlipAlbum 5.0 installation, double-click on the FlipAlbum 5.5 installation file and select "Remove" to remove the existing FlipAlbum 5.0 installation from your computer, when prompted.

And if you are installing the FlipAlbum 5.5 for the first time on your computer, you would be prompted for a Product Activation Key when you first launch the program. The Product Activation Key will be sent to your registered email address. At the same time, please do note that the license agreement allows one to install the software on one machine only.
