Besides image and audio, you can also embed and play video in FlipAlbum as long as they are of MPEG-1 or AVI format.

Video clips will not automatically play in FlipAlbum. To watch video on FlipAlbum, the viewer will need to click on the onscreen control buttons for the video clip and manually play the video file. Hence, note that you can only watch the video embedded in FlipAlbum on PCs and not on TV.

If you plan to share the video files with other people, it is best that you save the video file in a more standard codec, such as Indeo or Cinepak. The recipients will then have no issues viewing your video on their PCs, as the FlipAlbum program plays video files by scanning through the MCI multimedia devices and locating the proper codec to play them. If the video file is not using a standard codec, such as Indeo or Cinepak, it may not play correctly.

If you have a problem viewing video in FlipAlbum, you will need to find out which codec the video file is using and install the necessary codec. To find out which video codecs you already have installed on your system, please go into the Control Panel >> Sounds & Multimedia properties >> Hardware tab >> double click on "Video Codecs" >> Properties tab.

Enjoy your video!
