Want
to be a little more efficient in creating your albums?
Try utilizing the "hot keys" within FlipAlbum. The following "hot
keys" can be very beneficial, especially if you prefer editing
in non-Window Frame mode. Holding down the "CTRL" key and
one of the following keys will perform the following functions:
"
CTRL" + "S" = Save album
This hot key allows you to save your album with absolute links. To
finally save your album with relative links for sharing purposes, go
to the Window Frame mode and click on File -> Save As... menu. Ensure
that the Save as type option says Book, complete (*.opf file + contents)
before saving the album.
"
CTRL" + "Z" = Undo
This hot key allows you to step back to your last move. The maximum
number of Undo’s you can perform is 30.
"
CTRL"+ "ALT" + "Z" = Redo
This hot key allows you to step back your last Undo. The maximum number
of Redo’s you can perform is 30.
"
CTRL" + "N" = New Book
This hot key enables you to open a new blank book.
"
CTRL" + "O" = Open Book
This hot key enables you to open an existing album.
"
CTRL" + "C" = Copy
After selecting an image on the page, this hot key will enable you
to copy the selected image. To select more than one image on a page,
hold down the "Shift" key and with your "Shift" key
held down, click on each of the image you wish to select. Note that
the Select Objects tool† has to be enabled for this hot key to
function.
"
CTRL" + "V" = Paste
After copying an image, you can use this hot key to paste the image
to any desired location.
In addition to the above-mentioned hot keys, try using the following
hot keys after enabling the Select Objects tool† and selecting
the image(s):
"
I" = Get Image Information
"
R" = Rotate Image 90 degrees to the right
"
L" = Rotate Image 90 degrees to the left
Note that you can select more than one image on one page by holding
down the "Shift" key and selecting the images. You can then
rotate the selected images simultaneously.
Lastly, don’t forget about these hot keys as well:
"
F5" = Refresh
This hot key allows you to refresh your screen when viewing streaming
pages.
"
F2" = Toggle between Window Frame and non-Window Frame mode
This hot key allows you to quickly switch from Window Frame to non-Window
Frame mode and vice versa.

Objects menu and ensure it is checked, or click the Select Objects icon
on the standard toolbar to show a red arrowhead for FlipAlbum version
5.5‡ users, or a colorful glow surrounding the arrow for FlipAlbum

To install the CD copy of FlipAlbum 5.5 over an existing FlipAlbum 5.0
installation, double-click on the FlipAlbum 5.5 installation file and
select "Remove" to remove the existing FlipAlbum 5.0 installation
from your computer, when prompted.
And if you are installing the FlipAlbum 5.5 for the first time on your
computer, you would be prompted for a Product Activation Key when you
first launch the program. To retrieve your Product Activation Key, please
click here: http://www.flipalbum.com/support/lostpak/, and enter your
registered email address. The Product Activation Key will be sent to
your registered email address. At the same time, please do note that
the license agreement allows one to install the software on one machine
only.
