Here are some tips to help you "frame" your images and spice up your album.

First, you will need to treat the borders as another image and use the multiple images on one page feature. To insert multiple images on a page, just use the "Insert Multi-Media Object" tool located between Paste and Annotate tools on the main toolbar. Next, you will need to use the transparency feature to remove the area within the border or frame where the picture or image is to be placed.

Detailed instructions as follows:

Launch FlipAlbum and open an album that you would like to add borders to.
Flip to the page that you would like to insert a border.
Click on the Insert button located between Paste and Annotate buttons on the main toolbar.
Locate the border image that you would like to insert. To locate the borders that come with the FlipAlbum software, click on the Clip Art button. The borders are located in the ..\ClipArt\Border folder under the FlipAlbum installation folder. To view the borders, click on the View as Thumbnail button.
Click to select and drag the border image to the desired page.
Click on the Select button located next to Upload button on the main toolbar. This will enable the Select feature.
Resize the border so that it is larger than your image. You may need to resize your image as well.
Right-click on the border image and choose Effects -> Transparent menu.
Now move the cursor to the white area inside of the frame and 'left-click'.
For your last step, you may wish to use the Select tool to reposition and resize the frame and image accordingly.

** Please note that the transparency feature works best when using GIF and PNG images, instead of JPG and BMP. **

For more selection of borders and frames, you can consider purchasing the FlipAlbum 5 Design Libraries at http://www.flipalbum.com/product/fadl/. If you are a user of FlipAlbum 5 Professional, and are looking for ready-made themes and borders to incorporate into your album CDs for sale or commercial distribution, only the FlipAlbum 5 Design Libraries Professional Edition will provide you with the license to do so.

Alternatively, you can consider the borders and frames offered by some of our Forum users or 3rd-party Theme Providers. More information on the Theme Providers and themes offered can be found in http://www.flipforum.com/phpBB2/viewforum.php?f=5 or http://www.flipalbum.com/product/fadl/thirdparty/. Please do contact the respective party directly to verify that their themes and borders can be used for commercial distribution, before incorporating them in the album CDs meant for commercial distribution.
