FlipViewer® is compatible with IE 6.01 or above.
In this scenario, user has IE specified as default
browser on his or her desktop and has installed FlipViewer®.
Whenever user clicks on a Flipbook link or (*.opf) file from a webpage, FlipViewer® will be launched automatically
to display the FlipBook. All this happens seamlessly.

| Netscape and other browsers (as default browser) - a one time setting |

FlipViewer® is also compatible with Netscape and other non-IE browsers.
In this scenario, user has Netscape or other non-IE browser specified as default browser on his or her
desktop and has installed FlipViewer®.
When the user clicks on a Flipbook link or (*.opf) file for the first time, a pop-up will appear on the
default browser asking which application should be used for opening the .opf file.
At this point, just click on the Browse button and look for the FlipViewer® application to open the file.
The default installation path for FlipViewer® is at:
C:\Program Files\E-Book Systems\FlipViewer\FlipViewer.exe
The user could also click on the checkbox to indicate "Don't ask this question again" so that the
pop-up will not appear and the FlipBook will be opened immediately upon clicking.

| ONE WEB SERVER SETTING to serve FlipViewer® FlipBooks: |

There is only one web server based setting to support FlipViewer® book. This setting is for Netscape user.
i) The server administrator has to set the following MIME Type for "opf" files:
